It also come with many upgrade possibilities such as a split shaft design to fit all most all of the attachments available as well as a steel drive shaft to increase the acceleration of the cutting head and boost power.
It has an easy pull starter that typically took two pushes to the choke and three pulls to start.
The tap string replacement component is a great feature and very convenient to use and replace. It also has a 20 foot capacity which makes it last for quite a while.
The draw backs would have to be the weight, though it is described as light-weight and weighs in at under ten pounds as a female user the weight does become obvious and the use of a harness by women is recommended to ease in handling and reduce back strain.
The Echo GT-225 trimmer performed as advertised as is a fine piece of landscaping equipment.
